Teacher Residency

All of GSE’s teacher preparation programs feature a year-long residency experience. Resident teachers serve in a co-teaching capacity alongside an expert mentor teacher for a full school year while simultaneously engaging in rigorous university coursework. UB’s teacher preparation programs also offer funded residency opportunities through partnerships with local school districts, helping make your pathway into education more accessible.
