The Graduate School of Education is organized into four departments, each housing our 100+ graduate degree and certificate programs. Counseling, School and Educational Psychology

Become a licensed psychologist, mental health counselor or certified school or rehabilitation counselor. Choose from master’s, doctoral and advanced certificate programs, including some offered entirely online. Programs are accredited by leading organizations, including the American Psychological Association and the National Association of School Psychologists.

Educational Leadership and Policy

Pursue a career as a scholar, administrator or policy analyst in a range of settings, including schools, campuses, statehouses and private industry. Programs will prepare you to identify, understand and solve complex educational problems, especially inequities along lines of race, class, gender and national origin.

Information Science

Prepare to work in a library, museum, intelligence agency or other setting dependent on managing, organizing and retrieving data and information. Our American Library Association-accredited programs are ranked among the 20 best public programs in the U.S.

Learning and Instruction

Become a teacher or learn the skills to pursue a career in educational research. Choose from master’s and doctoral programs, advanced graduate certificates and teacher education certification programs. Flexible programs, including online and evening courses, provide numerous opportunities to conduct research and classroom training.
