The Graduate School of Education was established at the University at Buffalo in 1931. In 1989, UB was elected as a member of the Association of American Universities, which now comprises 62 research universities that continually advance society through education, research and discovery. Our faculty and students are involved in dynamic, collaborative and transformative research that impacts our local, national and global communities.
