To register for the training, scroll to the bottom of this page and click on the "Register Now" button. You will need to complete an online registration form and will be redirected to a secured payment site that accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or eCheck.
Registration for each deadline date listed will close when the course capacity has been reached (maximum of 20 registrants per date).
This training is $75 per person.
Part One of the online training modules were recorded by Amanda Nickerson, PhD, Director of the Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention and Stephanie Fredrick, PhD, Associate Director of the Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention. Part Two of the training will be taught "live" via Zoom by Kathleen Allen, PhD, Training and Evaluation Specialist for the Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention. As mandated by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), this training consists of two 3-hour portions. Due to the social distancing guidelines set forth by New York State during the COVID-19 crisis, we are now offering both portions online. Part One of the online portion contains four Modules, requiring a score of 80% or better on each module quiz to proceed to Part Two. Part Two will take place "live" via Zoom and a link will be provided once Part One has been successfully completed. Participants should be prepared to turn on their camera and mic during Part Two as there is interaction required. Once both portions are completed, for a total of 6-hours, you will receive a Certificate of Completion which will also be submitted electronically to NYSED following Part Two.
Once you have completed all of Parts One and Two, and submitted your evaluation, you will receive a certificate of completion which we will submit to NYSED. The training will appear in your TEACH account under "Workshops" following the date you registered for.
You will receive a copy of your certificate of completion form as proof of your having completed the training. Alberti Center staff will submit your completion of the course electronically to the New York State Education Department to be included under "Workshops" on your TEACH account following the date that you register for. We highly recommend that you also keep a copy of the certificate for your records.
