Language Teacher Education; Bilingual and Multilingual Education; Qualitative Research
Mobina Hosseini, MA, studied English language translation for her BA and English language teaching for her MA in Iran. She worked for more than six years as an English language teacher in her country, and she taught English to students of different ages. When it comes to research, Mobina has a wide variety of interests and most of her scholarly ideas arise from her teaching experience. She is currently interested in bilingual and multilingual education, pre-service and in-service teacher training, language and culture, and last but not least qualitative studies. Most of the research that Mobina has conducted is based on qualitative methods—grounded theory, in particular—and she is hopeful to expand her knowledge of qualitative studies and conduct research using other methods as well. She is ambitious and seeks to make change in English as a foreign language teaching and learning.
