The new Center for K-12 Black History and Racial Literacy Education will be a hub for research and professional development with one fundamental mission: defining Black history education. How are Black history and race taught and learned around the world in K-12 schools, teacher education programs and other educative spaces? King hopes to move the needle in answering these questions.
