English/School Librarianship, BA/MS

Our combined degree program will provide English students the ability to bridge interests in literature with a profession in education. Students will complement undergraduate English studies with focused graduate coursework in school librarianship, preparing them to secure New York State certified K-12 teacher librarian credentials for work in a school library setting. This combined degree program enables students to complete two degrees in less time, saving valuable dollars and getting them into the workforce sooner.
