Equity, Diversity, Justice and Inclusion

The Graduate School of Education is committed to creating an equitable, diverse, just, and inclusive community of faculty, students, staff, and administrators where all feel welcomed, included, supported, empowered, and have equal access to supports, services, and opportunities that ensure learning and success.

Tell Us How We Are Doing

No matter our efforts, there is always room for improvement. We ask that our community take the time to provide us with feedback so we can further improve our environment and experiences of our students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends.

Support Our Efforts

GSE provides students, faculty, and staff with the awareness, knowledge, and skills to be effective and culturally competent. We depend on alumni, friends, allies, community members, and corporate sponsors to further this work.

We recognize that excellence, equity, diversity, justice, and inclusion are inextricably linked. When we center equity, diversity, inclusion and justice in all aspects of our work, we create a dynamic and fertile environment for our graduates to have a deep and authentic appreciation for diverse people, perspectives, and ideas; to become transformative leaders; and to make an immediate impact in their profession. We are committed to leveraging our innovative scholarship, critically-informed and inclusive curricula, and leadership with our various professions to transform our school, university, and community.  Read our complete statement
