Summary Faculty Mentor

Silvia Zumaglini is a PhD student in the counseling and school psychology program and a presidential fellow. Originally from Italy, she earned a BSc in psychology from the University of Kent in 2017, an MSc in young people’s mental health and psychological practice from the University of Edinburgh in 2018, and a postgraduate certificate in child and young persons psychological wellbeing practice from King’s College London in 2023. Silvia has clinical experience across hospital, school, and community settings. Her research focuses on cybervictimization, weight stigma, weight-based teasing, disordered eating behaviors, and protective factors in discordant twins.
