Summary Faculty Mentor

Norline Wild is in her sixth year of the PhD program and plans to graduate this May. She is currently the Interim Curriculum Coordinator and PreK teacher at the Early Childhood Research Center (ECRC) here at UB. Norline received her bachelor’s degree in human services from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and her master’s degree in social work (MSW) from Boston College. Norline is passionate about the impact of picturebooks and the power they hold to promote social justice. Her research focuses on fostering identity, diversity, justice and action in our early childhood classrooms through read-alouds and curriculum development. When she's not at ECRC, Norline loves to read, walk, practice yoga and spend time with her husband, Jason, and their three children, Mara, Gabriella and Anthony.
