The Chandra R. Murphy Award for Staff Excellence aims to acknowledge and celebrate two (2) outstanding GSE staff members who have demonstrated exceptional dedication in advancing the mission and goals of GSE.

Any full-time staff member (professional, classified or research foundation) is eligible.
Nominations for this award should be based on staff efforts performed Aug. 26, 2024, to March 21, 2026. Anyone can nominate candidates. The nominating letter should provide evidence of excellence such as brief student testimonials, community testimonials, examples of staff work or other recommendations. A nomination letter is required. Supporting documents (e.g., additional nomination letters, support examples) are optional but welcome. The GSE Scholarship and Awards Committee will review nominations.
