Summary Faculty Mentor

My research focuses on educational inequality in higher education settings, particularly how family background and cross-cultural experiences influence students’ educational trajectories. I am especially interested in the barriers faced by students from underrepresented or transnational backgrounds, and how these challenges intersect with institutional structures. In addition, I examine the impact of cyberbullying and digital environments on student well-being and academic confidence. I also investigate how culturally embedded typologies—such as the MBTI—are reinterpreted and mobilized in identity construction, especially within East Asian educational and social contexts. Methodologically, I focus on quantitative approaches to explore large-scale patterns and support evidence-based research in education.
