Summary Faculty Mentor

Abdelhamid Touti is an educator, researcher, and doctoral student in the Graduate School of Education at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor at the university and a CR-ITI Coach, mentoring pre-service and in-service teachers in developing reflective, culturally responsive, and inclusive teaching practices.
   
He holds two master’s degrees: an EdM in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Education from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an EdM in Linguistics and Didactics of Foreign Languages. His academic and professional background bridges teacher education, language learning, and technology-enhanced instruction.
   
Abdelhamid’s research focuses on artificial intelligence applications in education, educational technology integration and innovation, algorithm development for adaptive educational platforms, and multicultural competence and interculturality in learning environments. His current research explores how artificial intelligence can be thoughtfully integrated into teacher education to enhance the quality of reflection and feedback. It seeks to understand how technology can nurture deeper pedagogical thinking, promote self-evaluation, and support continuous professional growth while maintaining the human depth and relational integrity at the heart of teaching and learning.
   
With experience in language instruction and world language teaching methodologies and pedagogies, Abdelhamid’s work focuses on integrating technological innovation with the pedagogical and ethical dimensions of education. He aims to foster learning environments that are equitable, intellectually vibrant, and globally engaged.
