Receive personalized tutoring from University at Buffalo students to make academic progress a seamless and engaging experience. Our tutors tailor each session to meet your child's specific needs, ensuring they receive the assistance required to excel in their studies. Whether it's mastering academic skills, staying on the path to graduation, or gaining confidence in approaching schoolwork, our tutor-mentors are here to help.

Get tutoring support in English Language Arts Math, Science and Social Studies

The University at Buffalo in collaboration with the Graduate School of Education offers FREE tutoring services to local students in grades 3-12. Tutor mentors in all subjects are available. We partner your student with a UB student who will offer academic guidance in regular one-to-one online tutoring sessions. Tutoring is available by appointment.

To receive tutoring services, participants must:

  • be a student in Buffalo Public Schools or Erie 1 BOCES
  • have access to the internet and a computing/electronic device
  • provide a valid email address

Learning Levels

  • 3rd-6th
  • 7th-8th
  • 9th-12th

Appointment Availability

Tutoring is offered Monday thru Thursday between 2:30–6:30 p.m. Appointment time slots are dependent on tutor mentor availability.
