Professional Summary:

My research focuses on engaging cognitively and culturally diverse students in the student-centered online, hybrid, and face-to-face learning environments in multi-disciplinary contexts. My research areas have evolved while conducting mixed method research with scholars in computer science, science, engineering, and medical fields. Currently, I co-led two NSF grants and am leading four ongoing research projects across four areas: Engaging learners in student-centered learning environments, Enhancing STEM diversity, Creating effective online professional development environments, and Serving underserved population.
