Professional Summary:

Dr. Rebecca Frandina Jacob is a certified rehabilitation counselor, a licensed mental health counselor, and a New York State certified school counselor. Dr. Jacob received both her doctoral degree in counselor education and her master's degree in rehabilitation counseling from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Jacob has considerable experience working in the counseling field as a practitioner, supervisor, and educator. Her work and research focus to inclusion and equity for persons with disabilities. Her pedagogical approach fosters diverse interactions where barriers are lessened, varied perspectives are exchanged, and students’ professional skills are enhanced.
