Trainings and Presentations

The Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention offers a variety of workshops and presentations regarding bullying, cyberbullying, school crisis prevention and intervention, and other related topics. We are also an approved provider of the New York State Education Department (NYSED) Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) training workshop.

  • NYSED DASA Training
    4/9/24
    The New York State Education Department (NYSED) Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) requires that all students applying for certification as of December 31, 2013 have 6 hours of coursework or training on the social patterns of harassment, bullying and discrimination. As mandated by NYSED, this training consists of 6 total hours of training divided into Part One and Part Two. The University at Buffalo Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention is an approved provider of this training.

    The first step to preventing bullying is making sure students, educators, parents, and other community members are educated about bullying and related behavior. The following presentations are offered by Alberti Center team members and can be offered in a variety of formats, including keynotes, workshops, and virtual webinars.
