To register for the training, scroll to the bottom of this page and click on the "Register Now" button. You will need to complete an online registration form and will be redirected to a secured payment site that accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or eCheck. You will also be given the option print an invoice and send a check via postal mail. However, this payment method will result in a delay in being granted access to the training, since access to the online portion will not be granted until payment has been received.
Registration for each face-to-face training session will close when the course capacity has been reached.
This training is $75 per person.
The online training modules were recorded by Amanda Nickerson, PhD, Director of the Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention. As mandated by the New York State Education Department, this training consists of a 3-hour online portion and a 3-hour face-to-face portion. The online portion contains four Modules, each requiring a score of 80% or better on the quiz to proceed and successfully complete the training. The online portion must be completed at least 24 hours before the face-to-face session. The face-to-face portion is successfully completed through attendance and active participation.

Once you have completed all of the online Module quizzes with a score of 80% or better, you will receive an email from the Alberti Center (please allow one to two business days) confirming that you have successfully completed the online portion and are ready to attend your scheduled face-to-face session.
At the conclusion of the face-to-face session, you will be given a copy of your certificate of completion form as proof of your having completed the training. For University at Buffalo students, this training will also be listed on your official transcript. Alberti Center staff will submit your completion of the course electronically to the New York State Education Department to be included under "workshops" on your TEACH account. We highly recommend that you also keep a copy of the certificate for your records.

No. Both the online and face-to-face trainings must be completed through the Alberti Center or be taken entirely through another provider.
