Enrollment

Choosing the right early childhood program is an important step in your child’s educational journey, and we are here to make the process clear, welcoming and accessible. Because space is limited, we encourage families to begin the enrollment process early to secure their place in our vibrant learning community.

How To Apply

We recommend that parents apply early, as space is limited. The Early Childhood Research Center (ECRC) maintains a waitlist that is prioritized by inquiry date and space availability for each age group. Parents who are interested in enrollment may email Keely Benson, associate director, to inquire about available openings, join the waitlist, or schedule a tour.

Current ECRC families have priority for enrollment in the following academic year. Registration for current families begins in January. After this period, families on the waitlist are contacted between February and May. If your child is eligible for a spot based on age and space availability, we will reach out by phone and email. Families are asked to respond within 48 to 72 hours so that we may offer the opening to another family if you are no longer interested.

When a spot becomes available and you accept, you will be required to submit the following enrollment documents:

  1. Application for Children’s Program
  2. Medical Statement of Child in Childcare (completed by your child’s pediatrician)

Waitlist and Tours

Because our center has only three classrooms, we maintain an active waitlist for enrollment. Adding your child to the waitlist is free of charge.

To request placement on the waitlist, please email Keely Benson, our associate director, with the following information:

  • Your child’s full name
  • Your child’s date of birth
  • Your best email address and phone number

Families on the waitlist will be contacted when an opening becomes available. In most cases, this occurs prior to the start of a new semester or as spaces open during the year.

Tours

Tours are typically scheduled between the hours of 9am-12pm.  Families are encouraged to see the space and discuss more about the program. Families on the waitlist are also invited to schedule a tour.
