Research is core to our mission. The Early Childhood Research Center (ECRC) is equipped with a large observation room featuring a one-way mirror where researchers can observe the classrooms in session.
ECRC supports research in teacher preparation, child development, child psychology, special education, exercise science and human nutrition, speech and language development, and a multitude of early childhood educational areas.
We welcome researchers from all departments at UB, the community, and other institutions to conduct their early-childhood-related research at ECRC. We are open to faculty and students, individual or group research, case studies or larger projects.
