Namsook Kim is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy (ELP) and an assistant director in the English Language Institute (ELI). She has more than 20 years of professional experience in training educators and education leaders in the transformative intersections of culture, language, and education in the context of inclusion, multiculturalism, multilingualism, and globalization, teaching language and culture to multicultural/multilingual users, and assisting in managing international business, in the United States and South Korea. She also chairs the UB Curriculum Communication Literacy Sub-Committee and the Higher Education Interest Section (HEIS) of the TESOL International Association. Kim's professional service includes membership of the American Educational Research Association, the TESOL International Association, and the bias and sensitivity committee of the New York State Education Department.
