GSE remains focused on our academic, research and community service mission. Ensuring the safety of the campus community is paramount as we evolve our response to the COVID-19 pandemic and return to campus. We are taking proactive and prudent measures at the direction of university leadership to ensure the health and safety of the GSE community in accordance with the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the NYS Governor, the New York State Department of Health, and the Erie County Department of Health. Our priority is to support the health and safety of our community and maintain quality and continuity in our academic and research programs.

Sometimes students experience unexpected or emergency circumstances and/or food insecurity for which they need assistance. The GSE student emergency fund is designed to provide limited financial assistance to GSE students who, due to circumstances beyond their control, encounter an emergency situation or unforeseen expenses. The student emergency fund is designated to off-set short-term financial need and is not intended to replace or supplement financial aid or scholarships. UB offers Blue Table, a virtual food pantry service for UB students who do not have access to food in partnership with the Student Association.
