Professional Summary:
Dr. Khadejah Ray (she/her) is an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership and Policy at the University at Buffalo (Territory of Seneca Nation). Broadly, her research uses critical social theories such as the racial contract and Black feminisms to examine the relationship between society, higher education, and social inequities.
Dr. Ray primarily does qualitative research and has examined the experiences of Black students and faculty within higher education. She has also examined how radicalized historical context of social science disciplines inform contemporary graduate socialization and training practices. Her prior work has been supported by the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Minority dissertation fellowship.
