    Scholarships and Awards

UB’s Scholarship Portal is a smart shortcut to apply for campus philanthropic scholarships. To access the portal and apply, you must be an enrolled student at the University at Buffalo. Log in each year using your UBIT credentials and complete the general application through UB’s Scholarship Portal.

Once the General Application is completed, you can return regularly to view new scholarship opportunities the system has matched with your academic and financial records along with your responses to the general application questions. There may be supplemental questions to answer to be considered for certain recommended opportunities listed in your dashboard. The general application should be completed annually after July 15 for the next aid year.

If you are selected for any scholarship opportunities within UB’s Scholarship Portal, you will be notified via email with the next steps you need to take for the funds to be finalized. The awarding process typically begins in the fall term and continues throughout the academic year.
